I enjoy most animated films, I really like the 2D style especially. Lion king. (Obviously) Beauty and the beast. Bambi. And My absolute favorites: Fantasia. Fantasia 2000.
My favourite animated movie is definitely "A Silent Voice" by Kyoto Animation. A very emotional and beautifully animated film. For anyone interested in watching it, it is on Netflix but I am not sure if it is dubbed over in English or if it is subtitled with the original Japanese audio. Also, I only watched it subtitled so I am unsure if any dub if it exists is any good. Seriously though, it is a great movie.
Definetely the older Disney movies (Especially Lion King and Beauty & the Beast), but I also really liked the Spiderverse movies.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish Across/Into the Spider-Verse Shrek 1 & 2 The Lion King (1994) Nightmare Before Christmas Corpse Bride Toy Story 1, 2 & 3 Nimona The Super Mario Bros. Movie (kind of funny considering I'm both an ex-Mario fan and former video game player, but still. I enjoyed this nonetheless) The HTTYD trilogy Kung Fu Panda (look forward to the fourth movie) The Bad Guys The Incredibles Ratatouille Coraline ParaNorman Lego Movie (1, 2 and Lego Batman) The Studio Ghibli films I've seen so far (those being Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away and Grave of the Fireflies) Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Mulan (1998) Megamind South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut
My top 10: Ice Age 1 Monsters University Kung Fu Panda 1 Madagascar 1 Inside Out Toy Story 2 A Bugs Life Over The Hedge Finding Nemo Treasure Planet
Here's some favorites that I can think of atm: Shrek 1 & 2 Spider Man: Into & Across The Spiderverse Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2 (3 is still a good film, just not as good as the first 2) Wall-E Up Ratatouille Surf's Up The Hunchback Of Notre Dame The Lion King Toy Story 1, 2, & 3 The Incredibles Megamind The Super Mario Bros Movie Despicable Me
I just watched The Tale of the Princess Kaguya last night and it has instantly become my favorite animated movie of all time. Words cannot fathom how beautiful this movie is: the animation is stunning, the story is so heartfelt and the ending left me with my jaw on the floor for a good 30 seconds into the credits. I'm not much of a crier, but this one nearly got me. It's both tragic and joyful all at once, an embodiment of what it means to be human. I'd love to say more, but I encourage everyone to give it a watch for themselves as it is triumph from start to finish. I do have many other animated favorites: Kiki's Delivery Service, Kung fu Panda, Shrek, Spiderverse, Spirted Away, Toy Story, Up, etc. However, no movie has ever left me with a feeling of shock and awe more than this one.
