This is a private zoo in rural central Poland, in village Lisów (near town Kielce). It has ca 120 species on 15 hectares. It opened in 2002 with just a few domestics and it got zoo licence in 2016. It builds its exhibits in simple style. It grows its collection that already has some nice species like mishmi takin, forest buffalo, blesbok, Lhoest monkey... But no flamingos yet! Their only large carnivore is a male lion.

    Notable news from recent months:

    - 1,0 lowland tapir arrived from Kolmarden last month
    - one white-tailed gnu born in July
    - the zoo obtained 3 great white pelicans (their first pelicans ever)
    - capybaras and servals have new enclosures
    - 2.0 bantengs arrived from Wroclaw
    - 0.1 milu deer arrived from Brno
    - maned wolves arrived in March (looks like 2 animals)

Yes, it is a very good zoo located in beautiful surroundings, partly in the forest. Nice, large enclosures, especially for ungulates. I was there for the first time in September, I spent two days there. A very friendly owner and his daughter who willingly share information about their zoo. Zoo is developing dynamically, more and more interesting species are arriving and new animals are born. Zoo is already a member of Polish Zoos and Aquarium Federation, learns and cooperates with Zoo Wrocław (quite a lot of animals from there, also from Dvur Kralove I think). Zoo is really worth visiting, the only drawback is that it is so far from other zoos.
