The zoo´s attendance was 318.000 in year 2023. A large new investment - exhibits for seals, sea lions and Humbolt´s penguins - is almost finished and will hopefully open this year. The zoo negotiates about animal transfers with institutions in Netherlands, France and Germany. The zoo wishes to source 10 penguin pairs, 4 sea lions and 2 seals. Source
