I just now noticed that any time I try to upload any media to the gallery or upload any file to a post, I get an error saying "There was a problem uploading your file".

The files I tried to upload were the same type and same size as I usually upload. I also tried with smaller files and in a different browser than I usually use, and got the same error message.

The problem exists in any category or subforum that I tried.

Why is this happening? Is this is a general or a specific problem? If I have done anything wrong that resulted in this I would really like to know.

    Can someone please help me?

Seems to be an on and off issue for me too when posting as well.

Okay - gallery uploads and attachments seem to be working again now

Cause was a problem with some new firewall rules.

Please let me know if you find anything else that starting causing problems within the last few hours.

    It is indeed working again.

Thank you very much for the quick response and the quick fix, that is very much appreciated.

Can you try attaching a media file to a post to see if that works?

Actually - I've just made a change to the firewall rules - please try uploading media to the gallery and let me know how you go.

I am currently in the process of uploading some photos that I took at Disney’s Animal Kingdom; and it seems that while I am trying to upload any image file, it immediately rejects to accept the specific file. Hence, my current situation.

While I may not get a comment from any of the moderators right away; it seems like the problem has been resolved and I just want to thank them for addressing the issue.

Wasn't us :D I suspect it might have been internet problems at your end.
